I married an Italian and lived in Italy for 13 years before relocating to the US. I am a certified Italian to English linguist and have worked as a translator both in Italy and in the US. I am also a NJ certified Italian teacher.

I have been teaching my beautiful language for over 10 years now. I'm also a translator and I have experience in interpreting and voice over as well.

I translate from French, Italian, and Spanish into English, and between Spanish and French. My work focuses on the technology and entertainment sectors, covering computers, consumer electronics, gaming, telecommunications, and marketing. With a background in French and Francophone studies alongside an Italian minor, I bring linguistic precision to technical documentation and creative content alike. My experience extends to adapting complex product information for global audiences while maintaining the original tone and intent. I interpret between Italian, Spanish, Catalan, or French and English in consecutive mode across on-site, telephone, and video-remote settings. My translation work moves documents from these same source languages into English with a focus on business, finance, legal matters, energy and environment, marketing, and social sciences. My background includes mediating high-stakes technology licensing negotiations and conducting channel-check research for investment funds across European markets. I have translated annual reports for major industrial firms and rendered complex legal documents such as loan contracts and licensing agreements. Earlier work involved compiling and translating refugee case histories for asylum petitions, requiring precise handling of sensitive personal narratives alongside strict legal terminology.

First, I would like to mention that although Portuguese is my native language, English is my dominant language. I work as a freelance medical interpreter between PortugueseEnglish, ItalianEnglish, and FrenchEnglish. I worked for Mount Sinai School of Medicine and for Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation as an interpreter. I also work as a legal translator for Shearman & Sterling LLP, and as a translator for a reinsurance brokerage firm, translating resinsurance documents. I prefer interpreting assignments though. I have 20 years of experience in Albanian translation and interpretation. I have also been teaching English in a public high School in Albania for the last 10 years.
