I was born and raised in Holland, speaking fluent Dutch while also being taught to speak my native language Urdu and Punjabi in our household. English was a mandatory subject in school and soon I discovered that I was good at languages, the wordings and pronunciations. My dictation was perfect and till this day, while living in the US, I love that I was brought up in so many different languages. It has not only helped me to enhance my knowledge of different cultures and speech, but I have also fully utilized my skills in the practical world. I have contributed to volunteer translation work for the community and I continue to strengthen my penmanship by learning something new every day. It's the desire and eagerness in me that makes me want to perfect language as words and letters are controllable, but actual life is not.
