I've worked as a freelance translator since 1995. I have a Bachelor degree in physics and a diploma in Laser physics. I master both in English and French languages. I have translated technical documents, scientific documents, researches, subtitling, medical and automotive and in many other fields.

As an Arabic to English interpreter and translator with 15 years of experience performing various types of interpretation and translation. My professional background includes performing interpretation, translation and administrative work with international non-governmental organizations, government agencies and companies. You will also note my Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. I have conducted translation work on a wide spectrum of material, including: commercial, B.O.Q.s and tenders, legal, NGO procedures and political and medical translations and interpretation. Currently, I work as an interpreter with Colorado Language Connection and The Interpreter Network in Colorado (The Spring Institute). I mainly conduct consecutive interpretation between Arabic-speaking refugees and medical providers during medical screenings. My work allows me to assist refugees fleeing war by helping them get diagnosed and treated properly for their ailments, most of which are psychological illnesses such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. While performing my interpretation work, I take into consideration cultural differences and boundaries during house calls with social workers to visit clients— about 98% of the clients are Iraqi and Syrian refugees. Prior to this, I was an Interpreter and Translator with Iraqi Council of Representatives (the Iraqi Parliament) in Baghdad from 2010 until 2014. I conducted simultaneous interpretation at local and international conferences, like the Kirkuk Agreement, along with numerous consecutive interpretations for bilateral political meetings between Iraqi MPs and foreign politicians. For instance, during a political delegation to the Philippines in October 2012, mutual meetings took place between the Iraqi side and the Philippine government, and I performed consecutive interpretation for the Philippine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice President himself. I have translated countless documents and contracts including political, legal, scientific, and commercial documents. For example, I translated the Power Plant Construction contract in 2011, and new laws to be enacted and voted for at the Iraqi Parliament-level. I worked with foreign soccer coach contracts for the Iraqi National Soccer Team, along with numerous press articles and research, and ID documentation.
