As a six-year medical doctor (OBGYN) from Saigon, Vietnam, immigrant to the US, and California resident for nine years, I have profoundly sensed the importance of acculturation in American multicultural life. I am a certified professional medical interpreter, working as an independent contractor and freelancer. On a higher level, I am now ECFMG certified and eligible to enter MD residency training. Besides my large and resourceful medical terminology vocabulary, natural sciences (Biology, chemistry, mathematics, social sciences, biochemistry, genetics, etc.) continuing medical self-education, and substance as a strong critical thinker and a motivated medical professional, I have profound medical knowledge.
