Since early age exposed to Polish Hebrew and English. Have excellent command of Hebrew and English. In my resume highlights document enclosed these capabilities are well portrayed, mostly during my Law Enforcement career overseas. I served as a Israel National Police Liaison to EU and the US and as such dealt in two-way communication on daily basis. I also lectured in both Hebrew and English in a variety of settings and presentations. Currently completed my M.A. in National Security and Counterterrorism Studies, and has been occasionally employed as an interpreter with LRC (Language Resource Center).Career Summary Started my working career in the 8th grade, on construction, during summer holidays. During my bachelor\'s degree studies I engaged in various tasks: librarian, language laboratories tech, local paper news reporter and finally a foreign student\'s exchange plan coordinator and counselor (1972-1973). None of these relatively short careers is mentioned in my resume. Although I never served in the US military, I did serve in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) 1965-1968 (as a medic in an infantry unit). My life thereafter can be divided into two major careers: law enforcement and counterterrorism (27 years ending in 1998), and with several years overlapping: a career as a holistic pain therapist, which I still am today, although on a part time basis only.

I am a freelance translator with Ph. D. in biochemistry and nutrition, extensive experience in biomedical research and 16 years of professional translation experience, specializing in chemical, biomedical and pharmaceutical translations. I received my undergraduate education at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark and my graduate degree from VA Tech in the US. My language combinations for translations are POL<>ENG, DAN>POL, DAN>ENG, and ENG>POL; I also do editing and proofreading in Polish, English, and Danish.

I am an accredited English into Polish translator, have an Engineering degree and also I served as a Certified Airline Pilot. My professional experience in all those capacities, both in the United States and Poland, spans over thirty years. I am ready to offer my expertise in English/Polish translation and interpretation in many fields, including the most complex technical and scientific documents.

I was born and raised in Poland.

I have worked as a simultaneous, consecutive, conference interpreter for about 30 years. My languages are Hebrew and Polish at native levels, Yiddish, somewhat lower. I also translate texts and transcribe recorded conversations and wiretaps.
