I have a BA degree in Psychology and Communication (obtained from the University of South Africa). I am an Israeli citizen living in the USA fluent in both English and Hebrew. Being a freelance translator / interpreter, I have provided services to a wide variety of clients.

I speak foreign laguanges accent-free. I have interpreted written work from Hebrew/English English/Hebrew. I translated orally in several languages including the ones checked off above. I work in a newspaper where several languages are used.

15+ years of experience in different fields of expertise, and in multiple disciplines. I am very dedicated and serious, while maintaining creativity and flexibility. I am used to working with different tools (Wordfast Pro license, memoQ, Across), as well as client-based platforms.

I have over 18 years of experience as a translator and interpreter from Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew. I also translate from French to Hebrew and English. I have interpreted in the Supreme Court of NY in special hearings. My translations have been in many fields such as medical, legal, business, finance, marketing, religion and more.

I have 36 years of experience in translation. I have Ph.D. in Hebrew and Semitic Studies. My professional experience includes, among others, more than 25 years as a professor at college levels (Israel, Germany, United States), Director of the Haifa Bureau of the Academy of the Hebrew Language, and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa (terminology, dictionaries, coining new Hebrew words), and translation of works (classical and modern literary works, business and personal documents, and others).

I am a native speaker of Hebrew and have a tested professional fluency in English. Linguistics is not just my profession but my passion and an integral part my daily activities. I keep abreast of linguistics developments and current events to assure the final product is linguistically, culturally, and socially appropriate. I hold a Masters in Applied Linguistics and am a full time Linguist with 12 years of experience. My areas of specialization include Medical (research protocols, questionnaires, medical records), Pharmaceutical (patents, research) Financial/Business (financial records, contracts), Legal (document review, a variety of legal documents), Technical (manuals and instrumentations) and Creative/Commercial (advertisements, brochures) translation, interpretation, transcription, voice over, quality assurance and editing. I have extensive experience developing and administering language courses, curricula, proficiency and achievement tests. I have worked with government, academic and private institutions specializing in foreign language training and research. My passion is for excellence and I have the words to deliver it.

I have worked for many years as an editor, writer and translator in all fields of Judaic studies.
