Over 23 years experience as Conference level Interpreter and Translator for top government and private Agencies, incuding the Indian Parliament, the US State Department, The US Federal Courts, Immigration Courts and Criminal Courts.

The Court Certified Linguist (interpreter, translator, transcriber) in person and VRI in the languages of English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu with over 14 years of experience in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in the legal field, namely in court hearings & trials, detention centers, depositions, site translation, and interviews. I have worked on linguistic projects in multiple (English, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Sanskrit) languages, interpreted, and prepared audio summaries and Court transcripts for many Superior Courts, Los Angeles County, federal agencies ICE & DHS (Department of Homeland Security), DOJ (Department of Justice), OIG (Office of Inspector General), FSI (Foreign Service Institute) and State Administrative Office of the Courts. As an Analytic Linguist, I have provided various criminal investigative linguistic support to special agents and investigators in many Indian languages. Prepared over 20 investigative reports, over 200 long Court transcripts, over 600 hours of audio translations, and over 1000 synopses of audio calls. My areas of linguist and interpretation work include immigration, family law, conferences, schools, healthcare, social security, business & arts, worker’s comp, civil lawsuits, insurance claims and various matters. I have also served as an Escort Officer (interpreter) for diplomats. Also, I provide linguist services to several private agencies and attorneys. Living and traveling in India for over 33 years has given me extensive knowledge of the territory, government, languages, art, family traditions, healthcare, businesses, cultures, and social & religious customs of India and various dialects of Hindi and Gujarati.
