Native Brazilian I have been working with translation and teaching ESL off and on for about 11 years now. I am an online rater for the TOEIC program (ESL)with ETS. I assisted in the translation and editing of a teacher's book and study guide for Stonecroft Ministries in Kansas City, MO. I translated and edited materials on an as needed basis for use at church and the school where I used to work. I also provided on-site interpreting at church conferences and medical trips. I ranked #1 of 180 in entrance exam for the Education major, with emphasis on Linguistics, Portuguese grammar and some Latin.
