Albanian Interpreters in California

I\'ve been interpreting both languages now ever since I was 14 years old. Most of the interpreting has occured through my family during meetings, relatives and friends. Since my family had a couple of restaurants and a cleaning business while growing up in Michigan, I\'ve spent a lot of hours interpreting business documents for my father and dealing with vendors. Also, interpreting during meetings with accountants and lawyers has occured plenty of times. Also, whenever family or friends needed interpreting in person or some documents, they would call me to help them out.

I am a journalist by school and profession, but I have used foreign languages throughout my 15-year-long career. For five years, I have worked for the International News Desk of the state-run news agency in Albania, translating news reports from various news agencies (from English, Italian and French into Albanian) and then writing commentaries based on the above-mentioned sources. For other 11 years, I have worked at the media office of the OSCE Presence in Albania, an organization where the working language was English. I have a very strong command of grammar, especially of Albanian, but also English and Italian languages. Also, I have very strong proofreading skills. I also have some knowledge on French and Spanish languages. I am able to translate from these languages into Albanian, but not vice-versa.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and can follow instructions effectively and efficiently. Fluent in Albanian and Italian. Conversational Spanish.
