I am an independent Japanese language verbal interpreter and written translator based in San Francisco, California. I was born in Japan but moved to S.F. when I was three years old. I was raised speaking Japanese at home, attending regular American schools during the week and a Japanese language school on Saturdays. In addition, I spent a summer and two semesters at a Japanese university, and also lived and worked in Tokyo for over five years as a "salary man". I am thus completely bilingual and bi-cultural.
