I specialize in Consecutive interpretation and telephone interpretation.

I am first and foremost an academician with Ph.D.s in History and Political Science, specializing in the Middle East. I teach at college and university (undergraduate) levels (for some 15 years now). I have worked as a journalist for more than 2 decades. I have done freelance translation since 1980 in Armenian, Arabic, and Turkish. I also do research in Classical Armenian and Ottoman Turkish. I am also a California Certified Real Estate Broker and a Certified Notary Signing Agent. For the past 5 years I have been involved in many translation/linguistic projects for the USA Federal Government in Washington DC and Overseas.

6 years of experience as a Turkish interpreter and translator speaclializing in business, technical, and legal fields.
