I'm the Hungarian< English Language Chair of the American Translators Association (ATA), as well as an examination grader for them. I'm also a monthly columnist for the "ATA Chronicle." In addition to being ATA-certified, I have been admitted to the ranks of court interpreters by the Judiciary Council of California.

Equipped with extensive vocabulary on both English and Tagalog, knowledgeable with regards to English and Tagalog grammar.

I am a native Hungarian who has been living in LA for a year. My major was art history but I have been doing translation jobs for more than 4 years now. I also wrote articles in both English and Hungarian.

I have been a free-lance linguist for English / Filipino (Tagalog), since 2001. I passed the written tests of the California Certification for Tagalog Interpreters, in September 2007. I received a Priority Level security clearance by the Department of Homeland Security, in March 2007, and, a Secret Level clearance from the Drug Enforcement Agency, in June 2010. I also received a Certificate for Electronic Surveillance from the California Office of the Attorney General, in June 2010.

I spent the first seventeen years of my life in Manila, the Philippines, before immigrating to California with my family. I have a BA in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley. My MS in Education, with a specialization in Intercultural Communication, is from the University of Pennsylvania. My native fluency in both English and Tagalog, educational background, work experience, and personal interest have led me to healthcare interpreting (medical examinations and consultations, psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing, and physical and occupational rehab sessions) and translation (information packets, announcements, transcripts, flyers, and song lyrics). I am also an accomplished editor and have worked on both scholarly manuscripts and flight simulation manuals. With me, you are assured of high-quality, professional work.

I have over 25 years of experience as a Russian interpreter and translator. I have worked with a large variety of terminology and in various settings. I am a contract translator and interpreter with the U.S. State Department and a Registered Court Interpreter in California. I hold an MA degree in English Philology with specialization in translation and interpreting from St. Kliment Ohridski of Sofia, Bulgaria and an MBA with concentration in finance from California State University at Northridge, CA, an accredited graduate MBA program.

A highly talented Pampango and Tagalog translator and interpreter with extensive experience in Court interpretation, giving assistance to non-English speaking parties with deep background in performing a wide variety of language interpretation activities for the court and for parties to proceedings, other court personnel and the public and also helping healthcare providers, schools and non-profit organizations in their interpreting and translating needs, since 1990.

I have a degree in Linguistics from the University of California Berkeley and I am a native speaker of Bulgarian and a fluent speaker in English.
