I grew up in Guangzhou, China and am adept in navigating both Mandarin and Cantonese cultures. I have also developed an understanding of American business culture by working at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou for two years and by earning a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii. I also possess a valid work visa and will soon receive my permanent residence. During my term at the U.S. Consulate, I served as an Chinese translator and interpreter for Immigration Visa Officers during visa interviews. I also had the opportunity to serve as the sole interpreter for the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association visits to China. This included translating for 33 U.S. Government officials’ visit with the Vice Governor in Guangdong Province about China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine regulations and cooperation. I have always held great enthusiasm and talent in the realm of international trade and economics. My cross-cultural background, strong language skills with Mandarin, Cantonese and English together with my skills as an MBA graduate stand me out as the perfect candidate.
