With a PhD in biology and a BSc in computer science, I specialize in translating complex scientific materials across biology, genetics, chemistry, and computing. My background as a computational biologist ensures precise terminology and a deep understanding of technical contexts, while my software development knowledge allows me to leverage advanced tools for efficient delivery. I can also translate from Norwegian to English and from all these source languages to Hungarian as well.

I have been a free-lance linguist for English / Filipino (Tagalog), since 2001. I passed the written tests of the California Certification for Tagalog Interpreters, in September 2007. I received a Priority Level security clearance by the Department of Homeland Security, in March 2007, and, a Secret Level clearance from the Drug Enforcement Agency, in June 2010. I also received a Certificate for Electronic Surveillance from the California Office of the Attorney General, in June 2010.

I am a native English-Swedish freelance translator, living in the US since 2001. I provide translation, editing and proofreading services since 2003. I have also performed several copy writing jobs and quality assessments of other people’s translations. Most of my business is based on long-term, repeat clients and my mission is to provide high quality translations to happy customers.

I have worked as a freelance Translator since 1997, mostly within the entertainment field, such as features, documentaries, TV-shows, video games etc. I have also translated several legal documents, including Marriage Cert., Divorce Papers, Contracts, Birth Cert., and different law suit documents.

I translate from Spanish, Portuguese, and Swedish into English with a focus on biology, business, finance, gaming, marketing, and medical or pharmaceutical content. My background includes work as an herbal specialist and extensive training in nutrition and botany, which informs my approach to life sciences and supplement-related texts. I also handle general business documents, financial reports, marketing materials, and fiction. Equipped with specialized dictionaries and computer-assisted translation tools, I ensure accuracy across technical and commercial projects. My experience spans translating certificates, CVs, supplier catalogs, newspaper articles, and corporate presentations for diverse clients.
