I am a native Turkish speaker who has lived in the United States for twelve years. I have extensive experience translating from Turkish to English as well as from English to Turkish. I am also a very capable consecutive interpreter.

I am an experienced Turkish Language Instructor with 17 years who is currently teaching to adult non-speakers of Turkish language. Besides my private Turkish tutoring sessions, I do Turkish cultural workshops and anything to promote Turkish language and culture. I do medical translations and interpretations.

I have graduated from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. I am currently a reporter for Newsweek's Turkish edition, and have written for Turkish and English news outlets including MSNBC dot com, and Washington Post-Newsweek's joint venture PostGlobal dot com. I have taught English and Turkish for a year both in Turkey and in the United States.

I work as a translator and interpreter across English, Turkish, and Azerbaijani. My practice covers both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for on-site meetings, telephone calls, and video remote sessions. In translation, I handle documents ranging from legal contracts and patent filings to financial reports and technical manuals. My subject matter focus includes business, chemical, consumer electronics, electrical engineering, energy and environment, genetics, gaming, social sciences, and textiles. Whether converting written texts or facilitating spoken communication, I ensure accurate terminology and clear delivery between these three languages.

By profession, I am a Certified Public Accountant, but I also work part time with several agencies by providing them with translation services. For instance, my assignment with a language assessment company includes designing reading and listening to tests in Azerbaijani (or Azeri) for examinees. I also work on the Teaching of Foreign Languages by conducting oral proficiency tests in Azeri. I hold ILR language tester certification. In addition, I also work with the Law Clinics by translating various documents from Azeri to English and from English to Azeri. My strong writing and oral proficiency of Azeri have also attracted the attention of Azeri media and foreign media airing its programs in Azeri. I occasionally give interviews to various radio and TV stations as well as newspapers in Azeri and also write short articles for various Internet forums and also local newspapers based in Azerbaijan. I am also a very active community leader who is frequently involved in various cultural events and political campaigns. I am a regional vice president for the Azerbaijani Society of America by representing this organization in Washington DC area. I work for the Federal government and I am a U.S. citizen. In the past, I have held secret security clearance, but I am not sure if it is still active.

I worked as a Senior Translator for NATO LSE Hqs. in Izmir, Turkey in early '80s. Since then I did a lot of translations. I read and follow Turkish press daily, work for a Fortune 500 corporation as a Senior Technical Writer (in English). I'm Turkish-English bi-lingual and have lived in the USA for the last 33 years. I have a PhD in social sciences (Brown Univ) and worked as a desk-top-publisher, journalist and a copywriter for the last 20 years. I have an equally strong background both in social sciences and technology.

I finished my studies at Aegean University Radio-television-cinema in 1997. I work in tourism sector since 1997.I made also translations in the languages written above.

I am a native speaker of Uzbek Language who also knows Turkish, Russian, English. I can translate and interpret any of these languages into others. I was educated in Russian, Uzbek and English languages. I am living in Providence, RI and majoring in Immigration Law. The last two years of the study concentrated on consecutive, simultaneous and liaison interpretation. I used to work as a sworn translator for the 26th Turkish Notary and had the chance to interpret the conferences held at the chamber of commerce too.
