I have been providing interpretation and translation services in Legal, Business and Medical field. In my position as an interpreter/translator, I have encountered and experienced various complex situations. My work is very rewarding especially when your clients appreciate my services. One example of an appreciation was when a project manager of a big firm was so impressed with the translations of corporate personnel\'s handwritten shorthand memo which usually can be deciphered only by the writer who knows the internal business operation. I am especially good at grasping what people are trying to say. Interpreting or translating verbal conversation both into Japanese and English, i.e. tasks such as interpreting/translating in deposition, over the phone compliance hotline, customer service, e-mail correspondence are my strength.I am extremely dedicated and passionate about the profession with strong work ethics. I am a Washington State certified medical interpreter working for mainly at Group Health Hospital, Virginia Mason and Swedish Medical Center. As a linguist, my strength is that I am able to quickly memorize and learn medical terms in both English and Japanese.
