My longest project so far has been a 7-month French proofreading contract with WorldBook Encyclopedia. It gave me the chance to use one of my best skills - research. Advertisements and other tricky texts are no problem, as I am very creative with words (though only when necessary!)

My vocabulary in English and Russian is superb. I have above average skills when it comes to understanding the context in which language-unique sayings, expressions and idioms are used. I am also conversant with numerous elements of the Russian and American cultures, which provides me with a crystal clear understanding of the context for application of the languages. I have extensively worked with simultaneous and consecutive interpretation equipment (including VMI and portable equipment), Microsoft Office products, and CAT tools. I am also good with the use of standard recording and playback equipment and internet navigation.
