I have experience as a Spanish Teacher and I have experience translating documentation from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. I have a Ph.D in biology from Penn State University and have writting several articles in this field.

I am a certified Spanish translator trained and experienced in terminology and processes in a multiplicity of fields including medical and technical translations. I consistently attend continuous education seminars and conferences. I am technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, MemoQ, MemSource, Trados Studio, XBench, and XTM.

I have a certification in pedagogy, extensive education in religion, and have worked on translation projects regarding websites, health and nutrition, religion, business, and personal documentation.

I am a highly skilled translator and proofreader with five years of informal experience translating and editing a wide range of documents from Spanish to English. I am a very strong writer and linguist and I use these talents to produce high-quality, eloquent translations. I am currently looking to transition into translation as a full-time occupation. My specializations include education, literature, journalism, political science, international affairs, NGOs, history, and general humanities. I am a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish. I have lived in Spain and in Argentina, and am therefore familiar with various Latin American and Peninsular dialects. I work quickly and effectively to provide my clients with fast, accurate, high-quality translation and editing/proofreading.
