I am a native speaker of Hebrew and have a tested professional fluency in English. Linguistics is not just my profession but my passion and an integral part my daily activities. I hold a Masters in Applied Linguistics and am a full time Linguist with 12 years of experience. My areas of specialization include Medical (research protocols, questionnaires, medical records), Pharmaceutical (patents, research) Financial/Business (financial records, contracts), Legal (document review, a variety of legal documents), Technical (manuals and instrumentations) and Creative/Commercial (advertisements, brochures) translation, interpretation, transcription, voice over, quality assurance and editing.
I have extensive experience developing and administering language courses, curricula, proficiency and achievement tests. I have worked with government, academic and private institutions specializing in foreign language training and research.

I was born and raised in Israel by American parents and consequentially view both languages as my native tongue. Additionally, my degree in English Literature has further strengthened my grammatical skills beyond that of an average native speaker. Furthermore, for the past year I have been the manager and editor for a team of translators for a law firm involved in an international class-action medical lawsuit which has expanded my translational skills into both medical as well as legal terminology. I am sure that with my background and experience I will be an asset to your company.
Growing up in Israel, I studied communication & media. I posses strong literary knowledge in Hebrew and have completed several literary translations. In addition, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and will begin my PhD studies in clinical psychology this fall. I speak, read and write fluently in both languages and enjoy translating literature and journalistic pieces.
I have worked as a simultaneous, consecutive, conference interpreter for about 30 years. My languages are Hebrew and Polish at native levels, Yiddish, somewhat lower. I also translate texts and transcribe recorded conversations and wiretaps.
