I am an English to Portuguese translator and interpreter who also works from Spanish into English and Portuguese. My practice covers both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for on-site meetings, telephone calls, and video remote proceedings. I translate and interpret across business, energy and environment, finance, legal, marketing, medical and pharmaceutical, and social sciences fields. My background includes extensive work with U.S. courts, public defenders, and federal attorneys, as well as support for international conferences and high-profile trials. I have served as a court-approved interpreter for the U.S. Department of State and maintain active membership in the American Translators Association. Additional training in court reporting and conference interpreting informs my approach to accuracy and terminology in complex settings.

I am an American citizen originally from Brazil. I have a Law degree from a Brazilian university and a Master degree from University of Georgia. As a lawyer I am used to meeting deadlines. Having graduated from a top university, I have very good language skills. I teach Portuguese as a second language and I have been working as a Translator and Interpreter for the past 6 years.

I have a very good command of the English and Portuguese language. Born in Hong Kong where I spoke English, I was raised in Brazil since the age of 7, where I attended Brazilian and American schools. I have a special flair for proofreading because I'm precision-obsessed, a perfectionist by nature.
