I am an ATA-accredited translator and Berlitz-accredited court interpreter working between English, Portuguese, and Spanish. My practice covers both written translation and oral interpretation in consecutive, simultaneous, on-site, telephone, and video remote settings. I focus heavily on medical and pharmaceutical subjects, including hormone replacement therapy, pain management, oncology, and dermatology, alongside projects in genetics, biology, and environmental energy. My background also extends to consumer electronics, telecommunications, and social sciences. I have facilitated international board meetings, press conferences, and specialized training seminars for major organizations in the healthcare and energy sectors. Whether translating complex clinical documents or interpreting live symposiums, I ensure precise terminology and clear communication across these technical disciplines.

I went back to school to study languages. Informally, I have helped many people with problems to understand correctly the different aspects of languages other than their first one.

I am a highly experienced and dedicated translator and interpreter in several fields of knowledge, with the language pair English ↔ Brazilian Portuguese. I grew up roughly half of my life in the USA and the other half in Brazil. I therefore have native fluency in English, and I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker; I’m also able to read, understand and communicate in basic Spanish. In addition to my extensive experience, I have a solid academic background including a Masters degree, and I am client focused, results driven, accountable, and well organized.

I am a court-certified Portuguese translator. I hold a BA degree in Spanish. I have over three years of experience as an Interpreter. I can translate from English into Portuguese and Spanish into Portuguese.

I am a qualified and trained Portuguese translator and interpreter with exceptional verbal and written fluency in American English and Brazilian Portuguese. I interpret messages accurately and completely, producing culturally and linguistically comprehensible speech for target audience. I adapt quickly to linguistic challenges and fast-paced environments. I prepares extensively for new interpreting settings and regularly study new terminologies, perfect note-taking techniques, and formulate professional introductions. I adheres to the Code of Ethics for Interpreters.Possesses CELPE-Bras Superior Advanced Portuguese Proficiency — the highest level of proficiency certificate developed and recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. I completed a 40-hour interpreter training in December 2018.

For the last five years, I have been producing high-quality translations from English into Brazilian Portuguese, with specialist subjects in legal and business. I have a law degree from Brazil, a certificate in translation from New York University, and I have recently completed a Master degrees in Laws in Environmental Law ( concentration in Energy Law) at Vermont Law School.  In addition, I am an active member of the Brazilian Bar Association and the American Translators Association.
