An experienced freelance linguist with a master\'s degree in translation from Kent State University. Miguel has been involved in the language industry since 1998 in the areas of tourism and hospitality. In March 2009 he started working mostly as an English <> Spanish interpreter in healthcare and community settings. His translation career has also been focused in the medical and pharmaceutical field translating documents such as clinical trials, products leaflets, questionnaires, and child development evaluation reports. Additionally, he translates a variety of commercial material and legal documents from English to Spanish and Portuguese to Spanish, for individuals, companies and translation agencies in the United States and abroad. I am an experienced freelance translator of French, Spanish and Portuguese to English, as well as a court-approved interpreter of Portuguese / English for the Connecticut Judicial System. Beyond the Connecticut courts, I also have experience interpreting in Federal courts, depositions, immigration hearings, Worker´s Compensation hearings, and similar matters. I've come to learn that disabilties are not limited to native English-speaking students. For two years, I have worked for an Education Services organization that serves numerous native Spanish-speaking children and families. We specialize in teaching students with severe disabilities, and I've often done translating and interpreting projects so that families can get help for their children, even if they speak minimal English.

Hello, my name is Ingrid and I am a Spanish to English translator and interpreter. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology as well as 6 years of combined experience as an intake coordinator from two major Psychiatric facilities. During this time I also facilitated countless translation and interpretation services between Spanish speaking patients, their families and the hospital staff.
