Although I never served in the US military, I did serve in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) 1965-1968 (as a medic in an infantry unit). My life thereafter can be divided into two major careers: law enforcement and counterterrorism (27 years ending in 1998), and with several years overlapping: a career as a holistic pain therapist, which I still am today, although on a part time basis only.
