I am a native English speaker with formal training in Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese and Papiamento. I have a large library of general and specialized dictionaries, two laptop computers with a high speed internet connection and regular backups as well as professional experience as a buyer and trainer for various companies, most recently Whole Foods Market.

While living in Brazil I studied English for eight years in Private School I've been working in the United States for six years for American Companies. I stated working with movie translations for the last three years. I studies at UCLA for two years, at an Extension Programs in International Trade and Commerce.

I am a Portuguese native Speaker. I have a Medical Degree, and I have also done research in Pathology, Immunology, and Criminology in Portugal. And since 2008, I am studying at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. I have also very good understanding skills of Spanish, and I am used to translate texts in Spanish to either Portuguese or English.

I have over 15 years of experience as a translator spanned over 6 years as an assistant translator to my mother, in Brazil and, since 1990, as a full-time freelance translator in the US, working with various agencies and directly with clients.
