I graduated from Istanbul University Translation and Interpretation Department in English in 2005. I have worked for many Turkey based translation companies and performed translations on legal, technical and advertising related projects.
I worked as a Senior Translator for NATO LSE Hqs. in Izmir, Turkey in early '80s. Since then I did a lot of translations. I read and follow Turkish press daily, work for a Fortune 500 corporation as a Senior Technical Writer (in English). I'm Turkish-English bi-lingual and have lived in the USA for the last 33 years. I have a PhD in social sciences (Brown Univ) and worked as a desk-top-publisher, journalist and a copywriter for the last 20 years. I have an equally strong background both in social sciences and technology.
I have previously done translations from English to Azerbaijani/Russian/Turkish and vice-versa. My recent translation work has been translation of an audio interview file into English. I have also done translations of movie scripts and other materials upon request by the agencies in the past.
