After coming to U.S.A. and doing a number of things, I started working as a per diem court interpreter, (July 1992), in the Nassau County first district court in Hempstead, Long Island. In time, the occupation that I started as a part time job improved through good service and referrals and became a business. Started working with the Federal Courts in 1994, translated a lot of documents, transcribed and then translated a lot of tapes when I first started. (Recently they turned to CD's.) Today, I am working in all New York and New Jersey State and Federal courts as a per diem interpreter. Also doing written translations, editing, tape transcriptions, simultaneous seminar and deposition interpreting, medical interpreting and medical translations. I also work as an escort interpreter. I work for private law offices, translation agencies and Government agencies as a freelance independent contractor.

I have 15 years of extensive experience in developing/translating/localizing highly advanced IT/Hi-Tech business materials for the Russian and Eastern European markets; Master's Degree in Computer Science with Minor in Engineering (Graduation work written and delivered in both English and Russian languages). I am also a Medical interpreter with a course completion certificate.

I worked five years as an in-house translator at a real estate investment company in Manhattan and feel very comfortable translating business, real estate, marketing and similar texts. I have also translated a fair share of surveys, technical manuals, some medical and large amounts of general texts.

I am a native German professional and fluent in German and Italian, speak some French and Spanish. I am fully computer literate and obtain broad knowledge of many different cultural environments. I recently completed a 2-year contract for Google Inc. performing market research, quality control, evaluation and analysis for Google search engine within the EU and US markets. Did a lot of localization work within the IT /software and tech industries.

Completely bilingual, with high pressure simultaneous interpretation experience, fast and reliable proofreading and translation skills, and reasonable rates.

I am a native Arabic speaker, and I have experience working with tourists as a Tour Guide. Also, I am a recent college graduate with a BA degree in Languages, with emphasis on German.

Specialized in Humanities Texts, I have also established myself in the area of finite measurement and statistics. As a translator I have published translations in the field of Philosophy, Anthropology, Ednology, Statistics, Physics, Microbiology and Molecular Biology. I was also copy-editor for two separate book projects, and have corrected numerous papers and projects written either in German or English. I have also served as a consecutive interpreter in both directions.

I used to work as a German and English teacher in the SSIFL in Uzbekistan.

I do speak fluent German,Russian,Uzbek and English is basic. I do have a strong educational background and work experience related to my education.
