My career began at the Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey, CA, where I graduated in 2005 after 63 weeks of intense Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) training. I have a comprehension of the elements of grammar, sentence structure, as well as vocabulary ranging through all topics including politics, entertainment, science, sports, and military. My current score for the DLPT 5, the newest version of the test, is 2+/3 (reading/listening). This score is among the top 10% of all linguists who have taken the test.
