I have Ph.D. in Hebrew and Semitic Studies. My professional experience includes, among others, more than 25 years as a professor at college levels (Israel, Germany, United States), Director of the Haifa Bureau of the Academy of the Hebrew Language, and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa (terminology, dictionaries, coining new Hebrew words), and translation of works (classical and modern literary works, business and personal documents, and others).
I hold certifications for Spanish and French interpreting in 20 state courts, along with federal court certification in French, and am registered to interpret in German across these same jurisdictions. With thousands of hours of experience, I provide simultaneous, consecutive, and sight interpretation in English, Spanish, French, and German across remote, on-site, and video platforms. My practice spans nearly every industry, with deep specialization in civil and criminal legal settings—including depositions, trials, immigration hearings, and probate matters—as well as technical fields such as patent law, telecommunications, textiles, physics, mechanical engineering, and pharmaceuticals. I also offer translation, transcription, and subtitling services, utilizing all major industry-standard software to ensure precision and efficiency.
I work as a conference interpreter in the US since 1995 in all possible subjects. I work for the Federal Court System and have lot of experience interpreting patent litigations in the US and overseas. Travelling does not pose a problem. I work into and out of English, French, German and Dutch.
I have been working as a translator and interpreter for over 16 years. I studied Translating and Interpreting (Romanian, German, English) at the University of Bucharest and the University of Vienna and was certified by the Romanian Ministry of Justice.
I have over 25 years of experience as a Russian interpreter and translator. I have worked with a large variety of terminology and in various settings. I am a contract translator and interpreter with the U.S. State Department and a Registered Court Interpreter in California. I hold an MA degree in English Philology with specialization in translation and interpreting from St. Kliment Ohridski of Sofia, Bulgaria and an MBA with concentration in finance from California State University at Northridge, CA, an accredited graduate MBA program.
Being Slovene and having studied Slavic Studies and American Studies in Berlin, Germany (B.A., at Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin), I am fluent in written and spoken English, German, Slovene, and Bosnian/ Croatian/ Serbian (former "Serbocroatian"). In addition, I am able to translate and interpret from and into the above listed languages (with Slovene and English as best target languages), can proofread texts written in Slovene, teach English (as a foreign language), and am familiar with the histories and cultures of the USA, Germany, Middle Europe, and of the Balkans (I also lived in all of these areas for extended periods of time).
I am born and raised in Holland (Dutch), lived in Lausanne, Switzerland (French), lived in Munic, Germany (German), and live since 13 years in Florida USA. I am very interested in a new career opportunity as linguist/interpreter. I do not have experience as an interpreter but have very strong communication skills in the above mentioned languages. My background is Business Development in Commercial Real-Estate and Private Equity with a broad range of national and international clients.
