I obtained my Masters Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Now I am a US citizen. I am an ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) certified proficiency tester in Bengali. I have been performing Bengali to English and English to Bengali interpretation and translation for more than 10 years.
I'm the Hungarian< English Language Chair of the American Translators Association (ATA), as well as an examination grader for them. I'm also a monthly columnist for the "ATA Chronicle."
