My qualifications include the Diploma in Translation (DipTrans) for German into English from the Chartered Institute of Linguists. I also have an MA in Linguistics from Louisiana State University. My education and experience have given me a deep sensitivity to words and language, and my command of both English and my source languages is supported by strong metalinguistic and analytical skills. As a translator, I am also sensitive to nuance, style, and connotation, and can ensure a translation that sounds as appropriate in the target language as it does in the source language.
