I have over 12 years of full time, professional translation/interpretation experience (medical, legal, and scientific/technical). I provide very high quality translation from/into either French or English and work regularly with several ISO companies. Born and raised as French native, I have been living in the US for over 25 years, fluent in both languages, diplomas from universities on both sides of the ocean.

I am a certified language teacher.

After a Postgraduate degree in Technical Translation in a Parisian university, I worked for several years in a Fortune 100 software company as a localization specialist. My career took me from France to the United States. As a freelance translator, I have worked in various fields including arts & humanities, industry & technology, business, health care, and software localization. I have translated web pages and technical manuals for major manufacturers, translated/edited business and administrative documents, interpreted for foreign patients at the hospital, and recorded voice-over sessions for a training video. Most recently I worked as a Program Coordinator for the university, and notably at the Center for French and Francophone Studies of Duke University. I recently decided to go back to translation and I hope you will give me the opportunity to work with you in the near future.

9 years of experience in the conference translation business enabled me to be flexible with topics and deadlines, however, my core competences include: oil and gas (upstream), finance and procurement, politics and governance, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, cycling, and some others. Having excellent organizational, time management, and mobility skills, I can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. I have a natural quick reaction, which makes me a strong simultaneous interpreter, with consecutive interpreting being my second favorite.

I do extensive research before each assignment I accept, being it in court or in a private consult setting. I am very well travelled and continue to learn about other cultures yearly during my International trips. Since obtaining my masters degree in French translation and interpretation in 2016, I have been working as a full-time freelance bidirectional French-English interpreter and French-to-English translator. My training covered simultaneous and consecutive interpretation and prepared me for a variety of subject matters and settings. I always thoroughly research and prepare for every assignment to ensure the highest quality interpretation for my clients and work closely with them to ensure they meet their specific goals for the assignment.
