I performed on-site medical interpretation in the hospitals and clinics of Washington, DC metropolitan area and for the Virginia judicial system as I have a medical background in addition to my educational background in economics and foreign languages ( English and Italian).

By profession, I am a Certified Public Accountant, but I also work part time with several agencies by providing them with translation services. For instance, my assignment with a language assessment company includes designing reading and listening to tests in Azerbaijani (or Azeri) for examinees. I also work on the Teaching of Foreign Languages by conducting oral proficiency tests in Azeri. I hold ILR language tester certification. In addition, I also work with the Law Clinics by translating various documents from Azeri to English and from English to Azeri. My strong writing and oral proficiency of Azeri have also attracted the attention of Azeri media and foreign media airing its programs in Azeri. I occasionally give interviews to various radio and TV stations as well as newspapers in Azeri and also write short articles for various Internet forums and also local newspapers based in Azerbaijan. I am also a very active community leader who is frequently involved in various cultural events and political campaigns. I am a regional vice president for the Azerbaijani Society of America by representing this organization in Washington DC area. I work for the Federal government and I am a U.S. citizen. In the past, I have held secret security clearance, but I am not sure if it is still active.

I am an accomplished Russian interpreter and translator with more than fifteen years of extensive experience translating both from English into Russian and from Russian into English. My experience working with Russian media organizations provided me with comprehensive knowledge of political, economic, military, and social structures of Russia and the former Soviet Union.

Translation and Language testing.

I translate and proofread between Bulgarian, English, Spanish, and Russian, with a primary focus on written translation. My background includes extensive work with legal and financial documentation, having served as a legal administrator where I managed company records and communicated directly with international banks. I also bring deep subject-matter expertise from years of translating specialized materials in government, economics, business, and technical product support, including user and technical manuals. My academic foundation features a Master of Arts in English Philology with a concentration on translation and interpreting, complemented by certificates in legal studies and digital publishing. I am a certified translator recognized by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria. Whether handling complex regulatory texts or adapting content for diverse industries like consumer electronics and energy, I ensure accuracy and linguistic precision in every project.

Despite the fact that Hebrew is my second language, I am mostly proficient in it. I do not have actual professional background as a translator. However, due to my knowledge of several languages, I have always been the unofficial translator among people from varied countries. I am very passionate about languages and would like to make it into a future profession.

I am native Russian/Romanian speaker from the Republic of Moldova (Eastern Europe). I have taught Russian and Romanian for over 8 years in the Republic of Moldova (Russian and Romanian are my mother-tongues since I’m from a multiethnic family) apart from my direct interpreter job–related duties within various American and international organizations like American Bar Association/Rule of Law Initiative-Moldova (ABA-ROLI Moldova), International Foundation for Elections Systems (IFES Moldova), SOROS Foundation, etc. I fluently speak English and I also have basic knowledge of French and Italian. I graduated from Bucharest State University (Romania), Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, and have a bachelor degree.
