Spanish Interpreters in Minnesota

I am able to translate and interpret for businesses, Special Education, court and for medical purposes. I have a Master's in Education, a B.S. in Spanish, a minor in Spanish, a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Political Science.

I have been working as a court-certified Russian interpreter for over 20 years, and I was one of the first two people to become a certified Russian court interpreter in the State of Minnesota. I also have an MD degree from a medical school in Havana, Cuba, and I have been doing medical interpreting for approximately 10 years. I have taken \"Bridging the Gap\" 40-hour training course and have taken numerous other continuing education courses.

I hold a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature and Culture. I have near-native spoken, reading, and written fluency in both Spanish and English. In particular, I have completed graduate seminars in court interpreting and literary translation. I have translated in the fields of marketing, business, and law.

I am fully certified with 20 state courts and (and French with the federal courts) in Spanish and French, and registered in German with these states as well. I interpret to and from English, French, Spanish, and German, and have thousands of hours of experience working remotely, in-person, and in the simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation modes. I have experience in nearly every industry, with specific specializations in civil and criminal legal settings (depositions, trials, preliminary hearings, immigration hearings, juvenile, probate, and all aspects of criminal law), as well as technical depositions, patent law, textiles, telecommunications, NGO and social science work, physics (especially as it relates to the automotive industry) medical and pharmaceutical depositions, mechanical (farm machinery, automotive, technological hardware, especially) marketing, etc. I also provide translation, transcription, and subtitling services, and am familiar with all industry standard software for these applications.
