I have worked as a translator/interpreter for over 20 years, including as the head of the Translation Unit at the US Embassy in Rome, Italy.

I am fluent in Portuguese and Italian. I can translate into English and vice versa.

I have been working in the industry as an English to Italian translator since 2009, and completing tasks in a variety of fields, to include medical/pharmaceutical, financial, legal, marketing and technical, for a solid customer base here in the US and in Italy. Prior to becoming a translator, I have honed valuable experience in the editorial field (as Editorial Assistant), in the academic field (as a College Lecturer in Italian and European History) and in the corporate world (as Proposal Writer). In support of my translation tasks, I leverage my native speaking abilities in English and Italian, as well as my knowledge of valuable CAT tools.
