I am an English to French translator and interpreter with a few years' experience in aeronautics, more precisely helicopters, commercial websites, NGO, technical translations, conference interpreting and consecutive interpretation, editing, transcribing and proofreading.
I worked as a < href="/language/french-interpretation/">French interpreter full time for two and a half years for a helicopter manufacturer. I interpreted in simultaneous and consecutive modes during training sessions at the training academy, in the simulator and during real flights. I also proofread a lot of manuals for training and technical specifications from English to French and Itallian to French as well as translating other documents and parts of similar training manuals, contracts, invitation letters, checklists and other related printings (including military materials and negotiations). Additionally, I am a qualified professional pilot myself.
I also contributed to a great variety of projects in different areas of expertise with my proofreading, editing and translation services.
To give you a brief overview of my academic training, in addition to my resume: I earned a Master's degree with honors in Humanities and Social studies in English as a foreign language and a graduate degree in language teaching.
I have been working as a French translator for 10 years.
