I began my carreer as translator in 2000 (during my first year at the university) and never stopped since. I am highly qualified in the areas of Law, Business and Finance, my experience being accumulated mostly in these areas. I have worked with several translation offices in Romania, before moving to America, a couple of months ago. I am also highly proficient in the areas of computer software (MS Office, HTML and Desktop publishing)

Being Slovene and having studied Slavic Studies and American Studies in Berlin, Germany (B.A., at Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin), I am fluent in written and spoken English, German, Slovene, and Bosnian/ Croatian/ Serbian (former "Serbocroatian"). In addition, I am able to translate and interpret from and into the above listed languages (with Slovene and English as best target languages), can proofread texts written in Slovene, teach English (as a foreign language), and am familiar with the histories and cultures of the USA, Germany, Middle Europe, and of the Balkans (I also lived in all of these areas for extended periods of time).
