I have been a professional technical translator (and degreed Engineer) for more than 40 years and will work for anybody for the right price. I was born and raised in Portugal, and have a Master's Degree in Engineering, and Finance studies. Long time (25+ years) resident and citizen of the USA (English almost native). ATA certification P>E and E>P. I translate E>Euro+African P and Euro+African+Braz P>E and also S>E and F>E, S>P and F>P, specializing in "technical" subjects.

I am an ATA Certified Translator (English into Portuguese) with 20 years of experience. I was born and raised in Portugal, where I obtained a Masters Degree at the University of Coimbra. I worked for twelve years at the largest Portuguese newspaper in the US and taught Portuguese Language and Culture at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. I am also a contractor for the U.S. Department of State.

First, I would like to mention that although Portuguese is my native language, English is my dominant language. I work as a freelance medical interpreter between PortugueseEnglish, ItalianEnglish, and FrenchEnglish. I worked for Mount Sinai School of Medicine and for Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation as an interpreter. I also work as a legal translator for Shearman & Sterling LLP, and as a translator for a reinsurance brokerage firm, translating resinsurance documents. I prefer interpreting assignments though. I was an intern in a project that consists of organizing the reports and files of the Engineer and Business Departments and also the Environmental, Health and Safety Department of seven power plants in Brazil. Identification, registration, standardization, mapping and preservation of documents were parts of the project.

I am a detail-oriented and reliable Portuguese translator with over 5 years of experience. I am also a reviewer and post-editor.

I am a native English speaker providing Translation services in English into Portuguese, Portuguese into English. I am located in New Jersey. I have been providing English document translation services in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications fields since 2009. Intensely studied Portuguese while in Brazil until 16 years old and attending Portuguese classes while living in the States in the past 10 years. I am also graduated in avionics engineering. I fluently speak advanced Portuguese and English.
