My original skills are in Latin and Ancient Greek, translating into and from both, and moderating forums in both ancient languages for the past four years. Besides these, I have taught both German and French in universities. Two years in Greece and a year in Germany made me fluent in modern Greek and German. I have been translating and proofreading professionally for the past 3 years.

I have many years of experience in the translation - interpreting business.

I am a native speaker of Romanian and licensed translator, by the Romanian Ministry of Justice, for English and German. I have a BA in English and German (Translator and Interpreter) in the fields of Business Administration and Commerce. I also have a MBA in Mamagement. I began my carreer as translator in 2000 (during my first year at the university) and never stopped since. I am highly qualified in the areas of Law, Business and Finance, my experience being accumulated mostly in these areas. I have worked with several translation offices in Romania, before moving to America, a couple of months ago. I am also highly proficient in the areas of computer software (MS Office, HTML and Desktop publishing)

Being Slovene and having studied Slavic Studies and American Studies in Berlin, Germany (B.A., at Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin), I am fluent in written and spoken English, German, Slovene, and Bosnian/ Croatian/ Serbian (former "Serbocroatian"). In addition, I am able to translate and interpret from and into the above listed languages (with Slovene and English as best target languages), can proofread texts written in Slovene, teach English (as a foreign language), and am familiar with the histories and cultures of the USA, Germany, Middle Europe, and of the Balkans (I also lived in all of these areas for extended periods of time).

I do speak fluent German,Russian,Uzbek and English is basic. I do have a strong educational background and work experience related to my education. Translated literature texts from Indonesian into German (Indonesian short stories, published), copy wrote and translated the content of our project website from German into Indonesian, translated daily briefings from German into English while working as a marketing researcher, co-edited a volume on Indonesia's democratization in English (which included writing an academic article in English as well as proofreading and translating other author's papers), wrote my PhD thesis in English, etc.
