I grew up speaking both English and Russian -- so they are both native, in a sense. Have been working as a professional interpreter since 1996, and hold current certifications as a Court Interpreter in the States of OR and WA (and reciprocal in AK and OH) and Medical (WA DSHS). I specialize in telephone interpreting and VRI (have been providing these services to the courts since 2009), transcreation and literary translation (Graduated from AWAI with a certificate in copywriting, have experience translating rhymed poetry into English) and quality legal, medical and biology related translation.

I am a certified medical Russian interpreter. I successfully completed a two-semester 104-hour Medical Interpreting Training. As a Russian intepreter, my assignments include a range of contexts and topics, including hospital appointments, developmental therapy sessions, counseling sessions, and school conferences.
