I have over a decade of experience as a lawyer, several years of translation experience, and certification from the Government of Spain of my native-level Spanish fluency (the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, level C2). I am certified as a translator for legal, medical, and social services documents by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. I have lived and studied in Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain, thus developing familiarity with multiple Spanish dialects.

I am a certified Spanish translator with 20 years of experience and also a medical doctor. I hold a PhD in literary and am specialized in medical, pharmaceutical, and insurance translations. I translated user manuals of laboratory equipment and medical devices for well-renowned companies. I am a member of the American Translators Association.

I am a French and Spanish to English translator specialized in Business, Financial, and Marketing translations. In December 2016, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting Studies. For my MA, I focused on translation from Spanish to English and French to English in commercial, technical, and international domains. Within this degree, practical and research modules prepared me to translate documents in these areas as well as enabled me to think critically about the translation process and all decisions involved. Considering both my prior education with hands-on practice in translation and the extensive time I spent residing in and experiencing day-to-day life in French and Spanish communities, I have the background necessary to properly re-verbalize, localize, and translate texts from these languages into English.

My specializations include Script translations – Various topics, including educational material, employee training, informational subjects, and market products with special attention to concise text to fit in video format, ad or presentation time frame. Also, I have extensive experience translating technical documents such as Owner’s Manuals and Human Resources Documents. As well as, Software Testing, editing of Technical Manuals and Voice Over projects.
