I was born in Cairo,Egypt. So my native language is Arabic. I studied in a French school in Cairo called College De La Salle. I studied the French language for 13 years. Also I studied Math and sciences in French. In school I studied the English language for 9 years. In the university, I studied Medicine and Surgery in English and graduated with MD Degree. So I am very good in any subject related to the Medical field, Pharmacy, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Genetics...in English, French and Arabic.

I am a certified Russian translator with an extensive experience in multiple areas and an in depth specialization in medicine/pharmaceuticals/medical instruments. I provide high quality translations with an average daily ouput of 2000 words. I also work as a medical and legal interpreter.

I believe that my strengths as a linguist stem from the experience I have gained over the years as a language teacher. Holder of the agrégation (a French high level competitive examination for the recruitment of teachers) since 2003 and assistant professor of English Studies at the University of Burgundy, France, since 2006, I have spent the past three years teaching upper level undergraduate courses, which mainly included translation. Also, I have taught French in Cambridge for two years, both as a French reader at Queens’ and Gonville and Caius Colleges and as a French teacher at the University of Cambridge Language Centre from 2004 to 2006.

I am a retired academic psychiatrist with an extensive writing background, fluent in French and capable in German, with area knowledge in medicine, psychology, literature, philosophy and the social sciences.
