Through a diverse and challenging ten-year career in Mainland China I have refined my translation skills to suit a variety of technical and non-technical fields, which combined with my professionalism and high ethical standards makes me well suited to challenging translation tasks.

Chinese is my native language. Moreover, I studied at two universities in Japan for nine years, and hence am able to speak, read and write in Japanese. Also, I have experiences in reading / writing many academic articles and several patents in English, Japanese and Chinese. Although my experience as a translator was short, I am confident in working on translations in many fields.

Very fluent in Chinese and English, have experience translating psychology surveys for a large National Science Foundation project. Also have had experience as an interpreter for business tours in China.

I am fluent in both English and Korean, but English is my strongest language. I am half-Korean and half-American and I grew up in a South Korean community in a culturally Korean part of China. To be brutally honest, my Korean language level (speaking, writing, reading, listening) is similar to that of the typical Korean middle school student. My English is as good as any other American. I learned Mandarin Chinese for more than ten years. My Chinese language level is very advanced.
