I am now a US citizen but I am originally from Cote d\'Ivoire, which is a French speaking West African country. I am fluent in french, I read and write the language as well as English, some Spanish and baoulé (African dialect). I have an active Public Trust security clearance from DHS-ICE as a French/English interpreter. In addition, my experience living and working in Africa as well as in the United States makes me open to different cultures and being able to work with people from all horizons.

I have experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in different settings, from the court system as an accredited Maryland Court interpreter, to medical to political issues and the like. I have native level fluency of French, Haitian (Creole), and English. I am also fluent in Spanish.

I am a native speaker fluent in English, French, Arabic, Hausa, Zarma, Fulani*, Tamashek*.

Completed translation projects (Albanian-Turkish-Albanian, English-Turkish-English, Italian-Turkish-Italian, French-Turkish) consisting mainly of legal materials, business contracts and related correspondence and marketing materials for clients of several translation offices located in Ankara, Turkey.

Born in Belgium where we have three official languages (French, Dutch, German) was an asset. I studied in Belgium to be an engineer and I am now living and working in Maryland, USA. I mainly work with the Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Hospital for interpretations as well as for translations. I am on my way to be officially a Court Interpreter.

I grew up bilingual, speaking English and Russian. I hold a Master's degree in French Literature and am completely fluent in French. I have lived in 5 different countries, and have traveled to 9 others. As a result, I have experience using all of my languages in their native setting. I know Italian fairly well and a little bit of Greek, Ancient Greek, and Spanish. My experience with these different languages has taught me to understand the nuances that are present in language and have allowed me to pay close attention to not only the meaning but also the style of my translations. I take pride in the high quality of my work and the attention to detail with which I complete it.
