My recent experience includes a 200,000 word translation from German into English for an educational IPhone app involving advanced mathematics. Holding a B.A. in German Studies from a top 20 university, I have done extensive academic writing in both English and German. Furthermore, I grew up in a bilingual household and have spent several years in Germany, so I have only a slight preference for the English language.

I have been working as a Catalan and Spanish translator and Foreign Language Teacher specializing in teaching English For Specific Purposes, with professional students from different sectors such as Industrial Design, Law and Psychology. My business relationship with an industrial designer from my hometown has lead to gaining expertise in different fields such as teaching, account management and translation. Before that I used to be a translation project manager, proofreader and occassional translator for a language services provider in Valencia, Spain, where I dealt with texts from very different fields: Sworn translations, technical documents, EU logistics projects, art gallery catalogs.
