I've worked as a freelance translator since 1995. I have a Bachelor degree in physics and a diploma in Laser physics. I master both in English and French languages. I have translated technical documents, scientific documents, researches, subtitling, medical and automotive and in many other fields.

I have a passion for languages and cultures, and have worked as a full-time translator and interpreter for the last 10 years. My diverse background enabled me to produce outstanding translations in various subjects such as medical researches on hemophilia, mining, food labels, specializing in contracts and documents, and political science. I have worked and lived in the international scene most of my life, in Europe, and presently in the US, I was born in Brazil; it allowed me to develop a proven ability to interact in cross-cultural environments, with excellent understanding of protocol and etiquette, and mainly of the culture applied to the language.

I have worked as a French teacher over the last 15 years. I am very detailed oriented. I currently work in the financial industry which would make translation of financial transactions my area of expertise.

I am a bilingual American who grew up in France and Morocco and worked for the French Embassy for many years. I am now a freelance translator based in Colorado with clients in the U.S. and Europe. Lately I have been doing a lot of government material, including: -speeches by President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton, Secretary of State Kerry, and other DOS officials (English into French); -a collection of articles on the global water crisis for DOS (English into French); -a collection of articles on traveling in the U.S. for DOS (English into French); -daily DOS press releases on foreign affairs, human rights, world food security, climate change and other pressing international issues (English into French); -material for the NVTC: transportation, child trafficking, weapons trafficking, military handbooks, biography of French president, port security and much more (English into French); I also do a lot of: -articles from French humanities reviews: welfare, colonialism, Chinese entrepreneurs in Africa, agriculture in Mali, Vezo fishermen, volunteer workers in NYC parks, and many other articles on a wide variety of topics (French into English). -material for a museum of contemporary performing arts in Paris (French into English). -and much more. I will also soon be starting a 3-year contract to translate French comic books into English for Europe\\'s biggest comic book publisher / distributor.
