I am an English-to-spanish-interpretation">Spanish interpreter and translator focused on business, marketing, and medical contexts. My background as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Occupational Health Nurse informs my approach to pharmaceutical and healthcare assignments, ensuring precise terminology and cultural sensitivity. I hold a Medical Interpreting Certificate and perform consecutive interpretation in on-site, telephone, and video remote settings. Beyond language services, my experience includes managing interpreter workflows and delivering safety training in industrial environments. This combination of clinical knowledge and operational leadership allows me to support law firms, healthcare providers, and business managers with accurate, complete communication. I graduated in the Netherlands from the Rijkspedagogische Akademie with a degree in teaching (in Dutch). When I moved to the US in 1978 I completed my Registered Nurse degree (in English). I have been translating between these two languages since I was 13 years old.

I have been teaching chinese language at the university of alabama for two years and studying as an electrical engineering graduate student at the same time. So i am pretty familiar with the translation work as well as science related work.

I am a Chinese native speaker and got the highest degree of mandarin in university in China. At the same time, I've learned English since I was 10 years old and got high score in the international English language test system and Gmat. Now I am in USA, so I want to do something that can contribute the communication between the two countries.

I have worked as a Spanish translator since 2012. In 2014, I obtained my certification as a medical interpreter. I have been doing both translation and interpreting since then, with an emphasis on the medical area, but a constant desire to learn and expand into other areas. I am specialized in scientific, marketing, medical, pharmaceutical, and legal translations. I am able to interpret in the consecutive mode and provide sight translation if needed and also provide Spanish to English document translation. I communicate with healthcare providers to schedule and assign interpreters to appointments and create and conduct classes and training materials for healthcare providers on how to work with interpreters. In addition, I translate documents used in healthcare facilities from English into Spanish.
